Joe Paterno-FIRED
I have, on purpose, avoided talking about the controversy at Penn State. I know of quite a bit of Penn State alum and fans in the South Jersey area, and I am more then confident they don't want to be reminded of what's going on, because that is all their hearing lately. Under the fire of former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky being charged with sexually abusing numerous young boys over a 15 year period, "Joe Pa" decided to retire at season's end, ending an incredible and long career at Penn State.
I woke up this morning feeling a bit surprised that the board of trustees at Penn State decided to let Joe go. I'm not saying I necessarily disagree with their decision, I was just surprised they actually fired Joe Paterno.
With everything that's happened in the past week, the secrets revealed and all, do you think Penn State made the right move firing Joe Paterno?
