The Most Unique Things To Do At the Jersey Shore
The Jersey Shore has so much to offer for locals and visitors alike.
Obviously, the main attractions of the shore are the beautiful beaches and long, entertaining boardwalks.
If you ask anyone to picture the Jersey Shore, they will either visualize the beach or the cast of the Jersey Shore.
But, we are much more than sandy beaches and sandy Snookis. (Is that how you would pluralize Snooki?)
Like bugs?
We've got something for you!
Like retro games?
Yep, we have something for that too!
1. Jersey Shore BlueClaws at ShoreTown Park, Lakewood
It's so great that we have a minor-league baseball team right in our backyard. Going to a BlueClaws game is fun for everyone, even non-baseball fans.
2. Insectropolis, Toms River
Zoos are cool. Museums are great. Insectropolis in Toms River is a bug museum, which is essentially a bug zoo...so cool!
3. Silverball Retro Arcade, Asbury Park
Silverball has games that date back all of the way to 1950. How cool is it that we can play with a piece of history here at the Jersey Shore?
4. Popcorn Park Zoo, Forked River
Where else can you feed rescue animals from all over the world popcorn? I am going out on a limb here and saying that the Popcorn Park Zoo is the only one.
5. Revolution Rail Co., Cape May
Revolution Rail is in Cape May and allows visitors to "bike" on old tracks through a beautiful and natural part of the town.
6. Tiki Bar Boats
We have multiple tiki bar boats around on the Jersey Shore. Gather your friends and a cooler filled with your drinks of choice for a fun time out on the water.
If none of that tickles your fancy, maybe you want to visit one of New Jersey's 56 wineries.
