Every now and again, an opportunity comes my way that I just can't pass on. And when that opportunity benefits a great cause, I can't say no. And that's why this September 24th I'll be rappelling down the side of the Sheraton hotel in Atlantic City.

This is easily the tallest event I've ever taken on in all my years in radio. On Saturday, September 24th I'm going 'over the edge' of the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel in honor of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties.

Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission is 'to provide children facing adversity with strong, enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better'. So, it's my mission to do whatever I can to support their cause.

Over The Edge is a special events company that provides signature events for non-profit organizations all over the world. Over The Edge has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and SoJO 104.9 to give daredevils like me the chance to rappel 175 feet (essentially 15 stories of the Sheraton Atlantic City) in a completely safe environment.

Participation in this event will be limited to the first 90 people who raise $1,000 or more for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties.

If you've got a similar sense of adventure and love to take advantage of once in a lifetime opportunities, I'd love to share this experience with you! At the very least, we'd love to have you come cheer me on at the Sheraton on September 24th!
