Hard Rock Atlantic City Giving More Grocery Gift Cards to Furloughed Employees
Earlier this month, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City handed out grocery gift card to employees furloughed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This Thursday, they'll do it again.
According to a press statement, all Hard Rock Team Members (including full-time, part-time, on-call and salaried employees earning less than $50,000.00 annually) can pick up another $100 ShopRite gift card on May 21 beginning at 10 a.m. at Hard Rock Atlantic City.
According to Nikki Balles, Director of Public Relations and Community Affairs for Hard Rock Atlantic City, it's a $600,000 total commitment by The Seminole Tribe of Florida, Chairman of Hard Rock International Jim Allen, Jack Morris, CEO of Seminole Gaming, and Joe and Michael Jingoli.
And when a reopen DOES happen, casinos will look a lot different on the inside. Guests and employees will be asked to wear masks, there will be contactless check-in for the hotel, and there will likely be plexiglass partitions between dealers and players at the tables.
