Tyner says Atlantic City police responded to Hard Rock Hotel and Casino around 9:45 Friday night for the report of a dead woman who was found inside of a hotel room. Cops found 57-year-old Sharon Whaley of Philadelphia, who apparently died from multiple stab wounds. An investigation led to Whaley's boyfriend, Lee, being charge with murder and weapons offenses.

In a statement, Tyner said, "I want to thank all of the law enforcement agencies which worked cooperatively to quickly identify and apprehend this suspect. We continue to work diligently in order to obtain more answers as to why this tragedy occurred, so that we can pursue justice for the deceased and her family."
