Happy Jerzday! Jv Joe Talks Everything ‘Jersey Shore Family Vacation’ with Vinny!

It's a very special Jerzday here on SoJO 104.9 as Jv Joe chats with 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' star, the 'Keto Guido' himself, Vinny Guadagnino!

Many many moons ago a bunch of young, 20-something-year-old 'guidos' were thrown together to live with one another for a summer on the Jersey Shore, in Seaside Heights. Little did we know what we were about to watch was a cultural phenomenon that has changed reality TV, the opinions outside people had on what the Jersey Shore was, and Italians overall.

It was so addictive that it became a ritual for me in college back in 2009 when it first aired. I gathered all of my friends from down the hall and watched together in my dorm.

Enter Jersey Shore on MTV.

I think it's safe to say that we were NOT ready for what we were about to see. But deep down we all loved it and wanted more after the first season.

I mean, if it weren't for the show we would not have "It's teeeee-shirrrrt tiiiiiime!", or "Partaaaaay's Huuuuuur!", and literally anything that Pauly D has ever said, "Oh YEAH!", Cabs are here!", or alcoholic drinks like Ron-Ron Juice. College Jv Joe is grateful for that last one.

Fast forward almost 10 and the show has found new life in 'Family Vacation.' The gang has grown up, some of them even got married and had kids, but all in all relatively stayed the same, they just can't hold the liquor anymore.

Jv Joe got Vinny on the phone to discuss what's been going on this season and how it's been being back after 6 years away from everyone.
