Project Prom 2024 Atlantic County, NJ Looking for Dress Donations
We're coming up on prom season in South Jersey, and Project Prom AC is on a mission to help South Jersey teens in need find their perfect prom dress at no cost! But first, they need your help.
What is Project Prom?
Project Prom AC is a three-day event where local teens can shop for and take home a free gown. This year, it takes place March 9-11 inside Kensington Furniture in Northfield.
How to Donate Dresses/Gowns
All gowns are welcome, but this year, there's a specific need for plus-size gowns (sizes 12 and up) and accessories, like shoes, jewelry, and evening bags.
If you have one or more gently worn formal gowns (prom, bridesmaid, etc.) that you would like to donate to Project Prom, there are three area drop-off locations:
- Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, 9218 Ventnor Avenue, Margate, NJ
- JCC of Margate, 501 North Jerome Avenue, Margate, NJ
- Esthetica Salon, 1205 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ
Dress donations are being accepted through Saturday, February 24th.
If you are a vendor (boutique owner, etc.) who would like to donate gowns to the Project Prom effort, please contact Rene Kane at 609-703-8592 or send a message through the Project Prom AC Facebook.
