A South Jersey surfer was reunited with his lost GoPro, thanks to this EHT man and the power of South Jersey Facebook community.

When something goes missing, you can always rely on South Jersey residents to give a helping hand on Facebook.

CBS3 reports, James Weir of Egg Harbor Township was walking along Ocean City shore when he saw the GoPro washed up on shore.

He took the device home and was able to upload its material. Here's the footage he found:

The clip is only 8 seconds, but you can see Atlantic City's skyline and a clip snippet of the owner's face.

Weir took the chance and put the video up on Facebook. Within two hours, the owner was discovered to be Andrew Finnerty, who assumed he would never see this GoPro again. I mean, it was missing for six months. I would have thought it was gone forever too.

I have to say, South Jersey's Facebook community is like no other. Remember this couple who lost their engagement ring in Wildwood? They lost it in the OCEAN! But, South Jersey Facebook got the job done.

Way to go everyone!
