Deptford Mall NJ Adding Bonesaw Brewing Company's Second Location

One of South Jersey's most remarkable breweries is expanding and has chosen Deptford Mall for its second location.

Bonesaw Brewing Co., which originated in Glassboro not far from Rowan University, is working on a brand new space in the former Sears Department Store at Deptford Mall in Gloucester County.

This second location will be called Bonesaw Pilot House. It will be situated near Round 1 Bowling and Amusement complex at the mall. A temporary sign has already been raised on the building.

Why Bonesaw Pilot House? Owners explained on the official Bonesaw Brewing Co. Facebook page, saying, 'The Pilot House will offer a truly unique Bonesaw experience with one-off or "pilot" batches along with some of our flagship offerings.'

I only recently visited Bonesaw Brewing Co. in Glassboro for the first time in January and that place is ASTOUNDING. It's beautiful, spacious, so fun for socializing, a TRUE beer hall. And, there wasn't a SINGLE brew I sampled that I wasn't impressed with. It's one of the coolest breweries I've been to anywhere.

Now, because the new Bonesaw Pilot House will still be operating as a brewery, it will not be able to serve food. But you can bring your own or order in. It's still going to be an exciting addition to Deptford Mall, considering there aren't many breweries in the nearby surrounding area (but Woodbury's Eight & Sand Beer Co. just down the road off N. Evergreen Ave. is a worthy venture).

The project is reportedly already under construction inside Deptford Mall, according to 42 Freeway, and Bonesaw appears to be shooting for a 2022 opening date. We will keep you posted!
