Denny's Restaurant on Tilton Road in Northfield has been temporarily closed due to "reports of violations."

According to a statement released to WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM by a spokesperson with Atlantic County Wednesday morning,

Denny’s in Northfield was temporarily closed as of 5 PM on November 30 by the Atlantic County Division of Public Health for reports of violations. An investigation is ongoing.

Reports of issues at the eatery came to light Tuesday night on Facebook when someone claiming to be a now-former general manager at the restaurant said the facility was, "out of hot water since Wednesday," and ownership was allegedly not addressing the situation. That person said someone contacted the health department over the matter and officials, "thankfully shut us down."

We reached out to Denny's corporate office late Tuesday night for a statement but as of this writing, they had not returned our message.

The restaurant appeared to be closed around 9:15 Wednesday morning and a truck for a plumbing company was seen in the parking lot.

This is a developing story; we will update it with more information if it becomes available.
