Could Jonas Brothers VMA Performance Be on AC Boardwalk?

The MTV Video Music Awards are coming up on August 26th. This year, New Jersey is hosting the awards show at the Prudential Center in Newark. However, the Jonas Brothers have announced they would be taking their performance elsewhere. The New Jersey natives are taking the VMAs on the road.

The Asbury Park Press took a crack at figuring out which "iconic" location they would be performing at, one of which is in South Jersey.

The first guess by APP was none other than the Atlantic City boardwalk. The paper explained their guess by saying, "There’s lots of space and locales to work with, from the boardwalk to the casinos. It certainly qualifies as an 'iconic location.'"

The rest of their predictions were in Monmouth and Ocean County, 5 of them being in Asbury Park. Perhaps they are are a little biased based on the paper's name.

Their most likely guess is the "iconic" Stone Pony in Asbury Park. The music venue is no stranger to surprise and secret shows, they have been the home to other MTV performances, and the Jo Bros have performed there in the past.
