Chipotle Sign Officially Up at New Egg Harbor Twp. NJ Location

The former Burger King on Tilton Road in Egg Harbor Township is being transformed into a Chipotle Mexican Grill, and that transformation continues with the installation of the official store logo.

I happened to notice the Chipotle sign on my way into the station Friday morning (it's opening only about a mile from the SoJO studio).

Renovations have happened quickly to turn the old BK into the popular Mexican Grill, which has another location in Mays Landing by Hamilton Mall.

The exterior façade has taken on a new look with the signature sleek, boxy form.

A ton of my friends swear by Chipotle. I've eaten there a couple times but, to be honest, it's going to take a lot to pull me away from the locally-owned Chido Burrito Mexican restaurant, also located on Tilton Road. They're food is amazing and I'm a loyal fan. Just something to keep in mind.

We're not quite sure when Chipotle's new EHT restaurant will be open for business, but we'll keep you posted. It shouldn't be long now.
