Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne Engaged To Be Married!
Surprise! Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and fellow Canadian musician Avril Lavigne are engaged!
Following a whirlwind romance that began in February during a collbaborative writing and recording session, Kroeger popped the question to Lavigne with a 14-carat diamond ring on August 8, People.com reports.
The two were spotted over the summer looking very cozy while on a romantic vacation in Paris, France.
This will be the first marriage for 37-year old Chad Kroeger. 27-year old Lavigne was married briefly to Sum 41 singer Derek Whibly, and was most recently linked to reality star Brody Jenner.
