We all have em’…an awful ex! You know the person who made you pull your hair out, cry to your mama, and eat way too many pints of Haagen-Dazs. With Valentines Day coming, I have just the thing to heal your broken heart and shall we say…send your awful ex a message.
Betty White was a national treasure, and now on her 100th heavenly birthday she sparked a national movement. I'm sure you've see #BettyWhiteChallenge everywhere on social media. What does it all mean? The idea is to donate $5 to any local or national animal shelter in Betty White’s name. This is supposed to be the last big push since today is her birthday. I made a list of every No Kill animal shelter in New Jersey and linked their contact info to make it easy for you to be a part of the challenge today!
OK, now I feel like Oprah when she gave our free cars to her studio audience..."you get a COVID test...you get a COVID test...and you get a COVID test!!!!!!!!!!! OK, it is certainly not as good as a free car but did you know that you get a free PCR COVID test mailed right to your home just because you live in New Jersey?
Beloved actress Betty White was a lifelong animal lover and advocate. On January 17th, what would have been her 100th birthday, White's fans are being asked to donate to their local animal shelter or rescue in her memory.
I was in New York City walking up Varick Street to my subway stop when I saw a young homeless man. He was standing near the stairs to the subway in winter with no shirt, hugging himself with tears running down his cheeks. He was crying and screaming out loud to anyone who would listen, “don’t you see me? I’m hungry and I’m cold…don’t you see me?”
There's a very special house you MUST see this holiday season. My family and I walk there every year for the grand lighting ceremony (they actually had fireworks one year), yeah it's like that. I call it the Holiday Hero House because what Mr. Pazzini gives the community is so much more than lights.
I'm an animal lover like so many of you so I love sharing this post! This is more news that New Jersey can be proud of...a proposed new law (that passed unanimously) would allow judges to appoint lawyers for animals that have been mistreated or abused. That is freaking awesome.
