Carnival Worker Falls from Ride in Voorhees

The carnival at the Voorhees Town Center became a harrowing scene today as a worker fell from the swings ride.

The man reportedly fell 30 feet from scaffolding at the carnival just off Laurel Road, according to 6abc.com.

The work allegedly caught a gust of wind while on scaffolding surrounding the swings, lost his balance, and fell around 5:00 p.m. while monitoring the ride.

Authorities say the  ride that was under repair.

The man was taken to Cooper Medical Center conscious and alert, but there were no confirmed details regarding the nature of his injuries.
