The Camden County Vaccination Center, located at Camden County College in Blackwood, has the ability to offer doses of the Moderna vaccine this Monday to eligible residents, according to Patch.com.

The vaccines will be available by appointment only on Monday through camdencountyvaccine.com or by phoning (856) 549-0530 or (800)-999-9045.

Clinic hours have reportedly been extended to accommodate the new appointments.

Although the county recently received an influx of the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, those have been administered, but Moderna remains available. Camden County does not yet have the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine available, Patch.com reports.

Even though 50 percent of adults in Camden County have been vaccinated against COVID-19, more than 145 new positive cases were reported there this week, leading Camden County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. to suggest that, "Even as the weather gets warmer and gathering outdoors becomes easier, please remember to continue observing the practices that we know protect people, especially if you are around individuals who have not been vaccinated. We can minimize the harm this disease causes over the next several months if we continue to fight just a while longer."

The Camden County Vaccination Center at Camden County College (operated in partnership w/Cooper University Health Care and Jefferson Health-New Jersey) is located at 200 College Drive in Blackwood, Gloucester Township.
