Beyonce’s Isolated Vocals From 2017 Grammys Offer Further Proof We Don’t Deserve Her
Isolated vocals from Beyonce's 2017 Grammys performance leaked online earlier today (February 14) offering naysayers and dissenters alike definitive proof she is celestial, otherworldly and, simply, unbeatable in her talent.
The "Formation" singer -- who is currently pregnant with twins, mind you -- not only delivered one of the most show-stopping visuals of the night (and her career), but she backed it up with a stellar set of live vocals. Watch and listen below:
In the wise words of Beyonce's (admittedly humble, gracious and also talented) competitor, Adele, "What the f—k does she have to do to win album of the year?”
It is, at this point in time, an undeniable truth that Beyonce was wrongfully slighted by the Recording Academy when they unfairly awarded Adele with the Grammys' most prestigious award, Album of the Year. 25 is a solid, well-crafted collection that certainly deserves praise. But Lemonade transcends music in its artistry -- it is poetic, political, timely, visually stunning and entertaining. No other nominee comes close.
And for the record, it's a sentiment Adele shares, too.
In short, Beyonce deserves better than the Academy may ever grant her; let us pray she is someday righted this egregious wrong. If anyone has proven continual evolution as an artist is possible decades into your career, it's Beyonce.
