Benefit to Be Held Tonight in Honor of Mays Landing Middle Schooler

Family and friends will gather tonight in Pleasantville in memory of 12-year old Giana Irby, a 7th grader at William Davies Middle School in Mays Landing.  A benefit is being held to assist Giana's family with burial expenses following the girl's untimely death.

I'm saddened to my core that Giana felt so bullied by classmates and peers that she reportedly made the heartbreaking decision to end her own life last week. This beautiful young lady departed this world too soon.  Here's how you can help Irby's family this evening:

What: Benefit in Memory of Giana Irby (raffle/buffet)

When: Tuesday, September 28, 6 p.m.-Midnight

Where: American Legion Post 81 in Pleasantville
