It's an exciting, spooky season in the Garden State this year. That, you can thank COVID-19 for.

It's weird to "thank COVID-19" for anything. Honestly, COVID sucks and we all just wish it would go away. It did, however, bring forth in all of us the ability to be thankful for the things we once took for granted. That includes some awesome local holiday festivities.

The folks in Toms River are beyond stoked for the return of their beloved Halloween parade that had to take a year off due to COVID-19. The Toms River Fire Company No.1 has given for the green light for the town's huge Halloween parade to go on this year. Ah, could it be? Another little bit of normalcy and fun returning to our lives? Seems that way.
