Looking to avoid the Summer traffic?

Well, there is actually a ferry that travels between the Tuckerton Seaport on the mainland and the Borough of Beach Haven's Taylor Avenue Dock on Long Beach Island every weekend of the Summer starting on July 6th!

The ferry seats up to 25 passengers and will be running every Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

And even better -- it is super affordable. A round trip costs $10.00 and the cruise takes between 45 minutes to an hour each way. The trip also includes a two-mile cruise along the Tuckerton Creek and a three-mile cruise across the open waters of the bay.

So not only is this environmentally friendly, it is the perfect Summer activity that will simultaneously get you down to the beach!

If this sounds familiar, that is because this ferry was supposed to officially kick off last August. However, this genius invention was postponed after the ferry's Florida boat builder was late delivering it.
