Applebee’s in New Jersey Serving $1 Long Island Iced Teas All December

Happy Holidays to us! Applebee's will be shaking up Long Island iced teas that cost only $1 all December long.

Long Islands are reportedly one of Applebee's five best-selling cocktails nationwide, so it makes sense they'd put it in the spotlight. Back in October, the grill and bar chain offered $1 margaritas and it was such a success Applebee's decided to keep the trend going.

Personally, I'm all about the L.I.T. life. It's got a variety of different spirits (rum, gin, tequila, vodka, triple sec with a splash of sweet and sour mix) but tastes like iced tea! They're so fun to sip on slowly. And at just $1, you can sip and sip and sip on a budget. Just pace yourself. It adds up to about 1.5 ounces of hard liquor.

So, the next time you're out pulling a long gift buying spree, keep a buck for yourself and pull into Applebee's to chill out with a nice big Long Island ice tea. It should do the trick, lol. Or grab your co-workers and do a super inexpensive happy hour!
