More Walgreens stores seem to be popping up around South Jersey as the pharmacy chain replaces several Rite Aids.

The Northfield Rite Aid, at the corner of Tilton Rd. and Route 9, will soon go through that conversion. Major sales are already in effect, and the store will reportedly close from October 20-25 before reopening as a Walgreens, according to store signs.

Most recently we've noticed the Rite Aid on Black Horse Pike in EHT at English Creek Ave. and a store in Ocean City has changed over. And, if I'm not mistaken, the location in Egg Harbor City on White Horse Pike will meet the same fate.
