Murder mystery dinner theater productions are a popular weekend activity in our area with shows taking place in Philadelphia Cherry Hill, and at Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA.

Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused restaurants and theaters to put these shows on hold, but one production company has come up with a creative way to continue offering these mystery experiences to their fans.

Without a Cue is one of the area's most popular murder mystery dinner theater production companies and right now, it's doing a Murder Mystery Walking Tour in historic Cape May, NJ.

"Murder by Gaslight - A Walking Tour Mystery" is described as "a family-friendly Mystery Hunt."

Since you're in Cape May, the mystery is obviously set in the Victorian-era. Without a Cue says you will, "Enter a world of stodgy alienists and charismatic charlatans, saucy painted ladies and tweedy robber barons, steam powered engines and horse drawn carriages."

Guests will gather clues and interview suspects during the approximately hour and 15-minute tour.

The tour starts at Elaine's Cape May, a boutique hotel that also features an outdoor dining area and bar. (Dinner and drinks are not included with the tour).
