A Jersey Shore Town Will Experience Discolored Water for a Few Weeks
It's never a good thing when you hear the word 'flushing' and 'water' used in the same sentence, but this is for your own good.
From Monday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Nov. 9, a flushing of the Point Pleasant Beach Water Department’s distribution system will occur, say Point Pleasant Beach officials.
With this flushing do not be surprised to see discolored water. You may also experience low water pressure for a few weeks as well, all of which is temporary.
The system flushing is planned to only happen during the weekday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and according to officials is an ongoing effort to give the "best quality water possible" to Point Pleasant Beach residents.
