Bah humbug!  Some of us turn sour during the holidays, according to a recent poll.  Consumer Reports has found a small percentage of American dread being kind to others this time of year! The majority of us, roughly 70 percent, despise being forced to wait in long lines buying gifts.  The study also finds it's the purchasing of those presents irks more than a quarter of us.

"For all the chatter about nostalgia, family fun and gift giving this time of year, many people don't like too much of a good thing," said Tod Marks, senior editor at Consumer Reports.

More than than 30 percent fear weight gain and debt.  Understandable and sometimes unavoidable.  But there are nearly a quarter of us who don't look forward to spending time with family, and nearly 20 percent would rather NOT socialize at holiday parties or feign being nice simply because 'tis the season.
