2022 Buena, NJ, High School Grad Wins Big Dunkin’ Scholarship
South Jersey is being represented out in the world in a big way lately.
First of all, we have to extend a HUGE congratulations to a local recent graduate of Buena Regional High School, Julia Brunini! She just graduated this year and plans on heading to Stockton University to begin her college career this fall. Actually, what we should really say is continue her college career.
According to a press release, Julia made her school proud by not only graduating as the valedictorian of Buena Regional High School this year, but she also graduated with credits from the Rowan College of South Jersey's Cumberland Campus as a part of their early college program. As a result of all of her hard work and dedication to her education, the folks over at Dunkin' Donuts awarded Julia $5,000 as a part of their Dunkin' Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program.
A total of 20 students were selected from throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas and each were given a scholarship to an accredited school of their choice.
The recipients were finally honored this past weekend at The Liberty View which is inside the Independence Visitor Center in Philadelphia. The ceremony was held on Saturday, July 30th where each recipient was presented with their award.
This is a HUGE accomplishment, to be sure. We salute Julia and all of the other winners on a job well done. Way to make Atlantic County shine!
