18-Year-Old from Gloucester Twp. Arrested in $130K Drug Bust
A month-long investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Department resulted in an 18-year-old under arrest and the seizure of more than $130,000 in illegal drugs.
Police arrived to the Country Oaks, Sicklerville home of 18-year-old Tyler Connolly on Wednesday morning with a search warrant.
Among the discoveries were the hallucinogenic drugs LSD, Ecstacy, more than 5 lbs. of hash oil, and a .25 caliber handgun, according to Patch.com.
Fentanyl and Heroin Ring Busted Up in Gloucester Township
Connolly was arrested and taken into custody and placed at the Camden County Correctional Facility. He faces numerous charges including possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance within 500 ft. of a public park, money laundering, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a statement, Gloucester Township Police Department writes, "The arrest of this individual is another example of Community Policing efforts encouraging residents to take back their community and assist the Gloucester Township Police Department with keeping our community safe."
