13-Year-Old Girl Threatens to ‘Shoot Up’ Winslow High School
A 13-year-old girl is facing charges after she threatened violence at Winslow High School.
In a statement, Winslow Twp. Schools Superintendent H. Major Poteat said the teen girl in question, a middle school student, reportedly left a voicemail at the high school indicating her plans to "shoot up the place".
Schools were placed on lockdown for a short time Thursday as police investigated the threat. The girl, who remains unnamed, was arrested at the middle school. She's been charged with creating a false public alarm and making terroristic threats, according to Courier Post.
