This Facebook Hoax Has Been Revealed To Be Untrue

There has been a message circulating on Facebook that claims Mark Zuckerberg is giving away some shares of the company. It has now been revealed to be fake.

If you were on Facebook recently you may have noticed some of your friends sharing a post to potentially win some of shares of the company. According to the claim, Zuckerberg said that if users liked a specific post he shared, posted a message explaining the giveaway and tagged five friends they were eligible to win.

The payout would be 10% of the $45 billion would be donated to charity.

Well...turns out it isn't true. According to Good Morning America, Facebook has confirmed that that these claims aren't true. There is still no news as to who started this lie.
