The organization 'Sandy Girls' is partnering with America Recovers to match teens affected by Superstorm Sandy to their perfect free prom gown with a donated dress distribution event this Saturday in Ocean County.

SoJO Facebook Fan Jackie O'Leary was nice enough to give us the details of this incredible event just in time for prom season!  There are many girls in South Jersey without the budget to shop for a dress in the wake of last fall's hurricane.

America Recovers: Wildwood seeks to help young girls affected by Sandy, who need a special dress for prom, graduation, etc. Come and try on dresses and gowns, then leave with the dress of your choice...FREE OF CHARGE!!

**They are also collecting jewelry and dressy shoes in all women's sizes to give out as well.

  • You can visit 'Sandy Girls' Dress Donation Distribution center this Saturday, April 27th from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Brick Township Recreation Building, Brick Township Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick, N.J. .
