Taylor Swift May Take On Legendary Role

Taylor Swift could be headed back to the big screen alongside the likes of Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman.  The country star has officially been offered the role of Eponine in the upcoming film remake of Les Miserables.Should Swift accept the gig, she'll have beaten out seasoned actresses like Scarlett Johannson, Evan Rachel Wood, and even Glee's Lea Michele for the honor.

Production is set to begin in March right in the middle of Taylor's European concert tour.  This reworking of the famous broadway play is slated to hit theaters December 7th.  The cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Taylor can next be heard as the voice of Audrey in the animated movie The Lorax, releasing later this winter.
