Thursday afternoon I was lucky enough to witness two local shore towns giving back to the communities ravaged by Hurricane Sandy. I was able to see first hand just how people are coming together to help each other recover and Restore the Shore.

Officials say it was a faulty brake that caused a dump truck to plunge into the Atlantic Ocean this morning in North Wildwood.
A dump truck being operated by a construction worker off the shores of North Wildwood became submerged in Atlantic Ocean waters this morning.
Details are still unfolding as to how the truck came to be lodged in the water, driver in tow, between the 3rd and 5th street beach.
