My Husband Just Said the Most Profound Thing Ever

My husband just said something to me that had me staring at him in silence, in a good way.

A light bulb went off inside my head as I looked at him thinking, 'YES!!!!! This is why I married you!'

He made a statement regarding Time Magazine's forthcoming 'Person of the Year' announcement. Sean simple said, 'Ya know who should be Time's Person of the Year? Women. Just women.'

I'm proud that HE'S proud of the recent public disclosures of sexual harassment and indecent behavior in the workplace by famous women like Ashley Judd and Jennifer Lawrence, and against men like Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer. As more individuals step forward to tell their stories of harassment and abuse, the more the door opens for other victims to find the courage to do the same. And to that, my husband and I both say, bravo.

Time reveals it's 2017 Person of the Year Wednesday, December 6th.
