Local Man Struck and Killed on the White Horse Pike

An accident on the White Horse Pike last night left one person dead.

According to NBC 40, 'It happened on Rt. 30 near Haddon Ave in Absecon, where police say a 57 year old male from Atlantic City was struck and killed after running in front of traffic in an attempt to cross the roadway.

The driver, an 18 year old from Galloway Twp., was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus for unknown injuries.
