A South Jersey school will be representing the Garden State in a national contest!

Congrats to Northfield Community Middle  School for winning the state title for the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest, a program that encourages teachers and students to solve real-world issues in their community, using classroom skills in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). (NBC 40)

Because the school is a state finalist, they are awarded 20,000 dollars in Samsung technology.  They also received a camcorder and a laptop to create a video to create a video showcasing their proposed solution to a local problem.  They are one of 51 state finalists that will compete for the national title.  If they win, they will earn two million dollars for their school.

Congratulations to all of the students, faculty, and staff on an amazing accomplishment,  and good luck in the nationals!
