It was certainly an emotional reunion with family and friends, as 100 soldiers returned home after serving oversees.

After nearly a year of service, members of the 150th Engineer Company returned home yesterday afternoon.

They were deployed last August to Afghanistan to participate in Operation Enduring Freedom. "They were there to do construction and do deconstruction of some of our bases and hand it back over to the Afghans,” explained CWO Patrick Daugherty with the NJ National Guard.'

Here is footage of the homecoming, thanks to the Press of Atlantic City:

We here at SoJO are very proud of our local and proud service men and women.   Welcome home, and thank you for everything that you do!
