Bridgeton Police are currently seeking information on four separate shootings that were heard around the city on Thursday night.

Bridgeton Police officers were first dispatched when gunshots were heard around Giles and Oak streets, where five shell casings were found. While there, reports came in about more gunshots heard in the vicinity of Cohansey and Washington streets, where the police found six more casings.

And then gunshots were heard AGAIN around 11:21 p.m. near Bank Street and Irving Avenue, and then again in the vicinity of North Pearl and Seibel streets. This time, the police identified a black Infinity as the source of the gunfire, and attempted to stop the vehicle. Unfortunately, the vehicle drove off and the police lost it.

The black Infinity was found again on Ramblewood Drive, about twenty minutes later, but the driver had vanished.

Thankfully, no one was reported injured.

But still, this is concerning. If you have any information about these mysterious shootings, you are prompted to contact the Bridgeton Police at 856-451-0033 or use their TIP411 text services.
