The Cherry Hill Mall is responding to the recent mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton by increasing security.

Mall management alerted Cherry Hill Police of their plans to add private security officers, according to 6abc.com.

Police have reportedly already added more officers to the mall, as well as undercover and plain-clothes officers, in an effort to discourage potential acts of violence and help shoppers feel safer.
