8 Beers You Shouldn’t Drink and Plenty More You Should Drink
The thing about the modern world we live in is that information is pretty much all around us. Anything you want to know, right at your fingertips, it’s all there for the taking.
On the flip side, a wealth of information is not always a good thing. Especially when it comes to what we should be eating and, more importantly, drinking.
According to at least one website that I had not heard of until today, there are 8 beers that you should stop drinking right now. Based on a high concentration of ingredients deemed harmful by some, including GMO Corn Syrup, Fish Bladder, Caramel Coloring, and some other things I can’t pronounce, here the 8 beers you shouldn’t drink:
- Newcastle Brown Ale
- Miller Lite
- Michelob Ultra
- Coors Light
- Pabst Blue Ribbon
Based on the inclusion of Guinness, which the site claims has Isinglass, an ingredient which comes from fish bladder and Corona, which the site says has something bad called Propylene Glycol in it, you can take from this what you want.
Now for the good news! The site does list a ton of healthier alternatives like Dogfish Head, Brooklyn Beer, and more. And, oh, by the way, several of the alternatives will be on tap next Saturday at our Grapes and Grain beer and wine festival at the Trump Taj Mahal including Dogfish Head and Brooklyn.
So, maybe this site’s on to something, maybe they’re just misusing information. Either way, it’s a pretty good reason to stop by our festival so you can try out a healthier beer. Who knows, you may like it more than a Budweiser.
