World Series Champ Pat Burrell to Throw Out First Pitch at Phillies Game 4
The man Phillies fans called 'The Bat' will be back on the field at Citizens Bank Park Saturday.
Former Phillies outfielder and World Series champ Pat Burrell will throw out the first pitch ahead of Game 4 of the NLDS.
Phillies lead the series versus the Atlanta Braves 2-1 after winning Game 3 at home Friday night with a score of 9-1.
Burrell's 2008 World Series-winning teammate Shane Victorino was on hand to throw out the first pitch at Game 3. Maybe he brought the Phillies good luck, and Pat 'The Bat' will do the same Saturday afternoon!
Burrell spent eight seasons with the Phillies, from 2000-2008, and retired from professional baseball in 2011.
Game 4 of the NLDS gets going at Citizens Bank Park Saturday at 2:07 p.m.
Let's relive some of Pat Burrell's greatest moments as a Phillie!
