I went to the mall yesterday and expected to have a quick snack and to my surprise, the majority of the food court restaurants were closed.

**Before I go any further, the new entrance of the Ocean County Mall looks fabulous, I love it.

I remember at the beginning of the pandemic taking Abby and her friends shopping at the mall and going to the food court for lunch. My husband and I like relaxing in the food court area, having an egg roll from Master Wok, pizza from Sbarro, or of course a cheese dog from the Stewart's.

These were staples when we went to the Ocean County Mall. I was so looking forward to that slice of pizza, but Sbarro and so many other regular options were closed.

Daddio's Grille is open, thank goodness and they're delicious. They are known for the "Over The Top Milk Shakes". Daddio's has a little of everything from sandwiches, hotdogs, and burgers.

I spoke to someone that worked at Daddio's and they said they weren't sure if the other restaurants were coming back or re-opening. And he wasn't sure if and what was moving in next to them.

I spoke to Kellie from Toms River while we were enjoying Daddio's, and she was wishing and hoping other food services would come in, and it was the perfect choice for her family while shopping, especially Stewart's. Although Daddio's Grille has a huge selection, she liked different choices to pick from.

If you look at their website's map, Master Wok and Stewart's is still on there, but they were both closed yesterday.

I would love to see a local brick oven pizzeria. A full-service dessert shop for those special occasions. Maybe a Salad Works? Maybe a Playa Bowls? What would you love to see at the Ocean County Mall's food court?
