The end of the Toys R US era was announced last week when the toy store giant announced the closing or selling of all stores throughout the U.S. This includes over 40 locations in New Jersey, from the Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City, Mays Landing, Cherry Hill to the Cumberland Mall in Vineland.

Now, the liquidation sale of over 700 Toys R Us stores will start as early as this Thursday (3/22) in some locations, according to the USA Today. The company hopes to sell everything before the end of June, with some stores set to close their doors earlier once shelves have been emptied.

According to Business Insider, some stores and warehouses may be closing for good by May 14th. This includes some New Jersey locations.

Toys R Us brings back so many memories for many including myself especially during the holidays. Christmas time always meant my annual visit to buy all different kinds of toys for my two boys for Christmas. It'll definitely be missed.
