We Missed New Jersey’s Biggest Cat Expo, and We’re Devastated
Suffering from major FOMO right now: fear of missed opportunity! The 82nd Annual Garden State Cat Show happened over the weekend, and we found out too late!
The expo in Edison showcased a parade of purebred felines, breed and agility competitions, and adoption opportunities, according to NJ.com. The weekend was reportedly FULL of cats, cat lovers, vendors and animal shelter volunteers from all over New Jersey. And, CATS! Did I already mention there were CATS?!
The Garden State Cat Club supports local humane societies, no-kill shelters, pet visitation programs for nursing homes, and the Winn Feline Foundation, which supports funding for cat health studies. Any organization that shows love for cats in particular has a special place in my heart, because I'm a cat lady through and through. Wonder if Grumpy Cat or Lil' Bub was there!
I will DEFINITELY make a point to attend next year's cat expo! Any of my fellow South Jersey cat lovers down for a road trip?
