WATCH: Horrifying Video Shows Wrong-Way Driver Crashing on I-95 in Philadelphia

Motorists on I-95 in the Philadelphia area had a scary incident Monday afternoon.

A driver, who was being chased by police, drove the wrong way I-95 southbound near the Philadelphia Airport before slamming into another car and flipping over.

NBC 10 exclusively obtained video of the chase (and violent crash) from an eyewitness. Warning this video may be graphic for some to see:

NBC 10's reporting says that the incident began after the driver struck several vehicles on Departures Road (just outside of the Philadelphia airport).

Traffic is currently backed up in the immediate area of the crash, which occurred near Rt. 420 in Tinicum Township.
