In case you missed it, there's a new ice cream truck roaming the neighborhoods of Washington Township in Gloucester County, and it's run by the local police!

In an effort to reach residents across the whole township, especially in neighborhoods with that a lot of kids, senior citizens, and affordable housing developments. NJ.com reports.

The Washington Township Police Department is connecting with the community via the Bomb Pop Patrol!

It's always so nice to have a positive reason to talk to law enforcement and relate to them on a one-on-one level. And to be gifted a delicious treat? That's such a cool thing to do!
