Vocalists Dominate Week 2 of ‘Hamilton Mall’s Got Talent!’
Sharp singing skills were on display at Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing Thursday night, as three vocalists took the Top 3 spots, including Week 2 winner Kassandra Carey.
Carey belted her way to the night's biggest scorecard with her rendition of Alicia Keys 'Fallin'. It was her second straight week competing this Season 4 in an attempt to secure a spot in the 'Hamilton Mall's Got Talent!' finale August 29th.
Midday host and HMGT Week 2 judge Chelsea Corrine caught up with Kassandra after her win.
Carey, of Maple Shade, told SoJO she started singing before she started walking.The 15-year-old felt good after her performance, but a little panicked since she missed the Top 3 during Week 1.
When watching her sing, Carey hopes audiences feel the emotion of every song, saying 'I'm doing what I love, and I want them to feel that'.
Also moving on to the finale: Brianna Petrosh, who took second place with her operatic take on 'December' from Anastasia, and Stephan O'Neill, who performed 'Girl On Fire' by Alicia Keys to take third place.
