Was Wednesday just a 'typical day' for the Vineland Police Department?

If saving the lives of two children and one adult counts as a 'typical day', then so be it.

Two children, ages 10 and 13, were swimming in the Maurice River.  A strong current came in, thus pulling the kids further in the water.

A man noticed the situation, and jumped into the river to try to save the kids, but he too also got pulled into the current.

According to NBC 40, 'The three clung to the bridge at Maurice River Parkway and West Almond Road waiting to be rescued.'

Thanks to the Vineland Police, the three were rescued with no injuries.  Another job well done!
