Back in January, the county hosted a pop-up vaccine clinic at Harry Williams Community Center where they served more than 500 veterans.

On Saturday, March 27th, another 800 vaccines will be available at the community center, the county announced Monday.

Melinda Kane, Camden County Commissioner Melinda Kane who works with the Office of Veterans Affairs, tells Patch.com, "Last month's pop-up vaccination clinic was incredibly successful and got vaccines into the arms of roughly 590 area veterans. We are extremely thankful for our partners at the VA for making it possible to provide a second round of appointments and to continue providing these services to men and women who served their country. As our community gets closer to returning to a pre-pandemic state, getting these heroes protected is vitally important."

Veterans age 55 and over and enrolled for VA benefits will be eligible. The clinic is not extended to spouses or relatives of eligible veterans.

The COVID-19 vaccines will be distributed between 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. by appointment only. Eligible veterans should call 215-823-4014 to secure an appointment at the pop-up clinic.

Again, NO VET WITHOUT A PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE THE COVID-19 VACCINE ON MARCH 27TH.

Call 215-823-4014.
