Meet 6 lb. Manuel Correa.  The newborn entered the world yesterday alongside a stretch of the Garden State Parkway in Cape May County.

An emergency call was placed to the fire department at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning about a pregnant woman needing assistance to the hospital.  Firefighter/EMTs Matt Johnson and Robert Feltwell had mom Tiffany Correa en route when unexpectedly her contractions sped up.  Johnson and Feltwell pulled to the shoulder and helped deliver little Manuel about 8:10 a.m.

Manuel's father Edwin Correa tells PressofAtlanticCity.com:

“It happened too fast.  One second they came and picked us up and the next we were pulling over on the side of the road.”

Manuel is now the youngest of 3 older siblings.
