Atlantic City police say a woman was charged after being found unconscious with drugs and her baby in a vehicle Thursday afternoon.

According to a press release, ACPD detectives responded to the area of Arizona and Fairmount Avenues for a report of an unconscious woman in the driver seat of a vehicle with an infant in the backseat.

Arriving officers found 41-year-old Jessica Muller of Margate unconscious. The person who called police had removed the child from the vehicle.

Cops say once awake, Muller showed signs of being under the influence of narcotics. Cocaine and Xanax was located in the center console along with paraphernalia used to ingest narcotics.

Muller and her child were both taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for evaluation.

Muller was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance; she was released on a summons with a future court date.
